Ricky's Train Party - 2 years old

Ricky's first birthday party that I was able to give him was when he was 2 years old. It was just Family and Family Friends and we had it at "Hunter Park" near where Ricky and lived in Riverside. This park is unique because it has a miniature train that you can ride on for free on Saturdays, and Ricky really liked trains at the time, so this seemed like the perfect place to have it.

Basically we had a picnic lunch and everyone brought something. (so it was easy on me) and I am a big fan of participation so I had to make up some thing to do that would be good for Adults but still keep Ricky interested. So here are just a couple of pictures and some explanation of what we did.

It is hard to tell in this picture just what it is that we are doing here but what it is , is we all were to make a paper airplane and see who's could fly the farthest. Ricky is that little guy in the front, he is telling us to throw it.

This is Ricky with his cake that I made. You don't get a very good shot of it here but I tried my best to decorate it like the napkins I bought. There is a block train.

Well, this is us making "Puff Art" T- Shirts. It was kind of fun and it was nice to have everyone participating. The man shown in the front of the picture is my Grandpa Gray who is now deceased. I like people to be able to have something to take home with them and it makes it eaisier and funner if they can make stuff themselves.

Well this is the train that I talked about in the begining of the page. Ricky is that little guy and I am behind him along with my brother and our good friend John.

It was alot of fun and memories in the making.
