Suherman Samiri: I used to call him with his nick name: siong-siong. He is one of my best friend. We happened to be born in the same year (the year of Snake) and same month, so both of us share the same zodiac: Virgo. He once worked for Bank Bali Cayman Island Branch, British West Indies (as dispatch personnel from Head Office) holding the position of Administration Manager several years ago. He used to worked for the Head Office of Bank Bali in Jakarta every now and then, and then he was scouted by a cruise ship crew recruitment / manning agent to be their GM in Jakarta. Congratulations! Bujung Darmawan: Bujung works for a multi-national company from Germany. He used to stationed at the company's Asian Regional Head Office in Hong Kong, but he moved back to Jakarta just before the May 1998 riot (not a wise decision). Shocked by the tragedy, he relocated himself and his family (wife and 2 kids) to Bali searching for safety. After 2 years in Bali, now he is back in Jakarta. Riki Sendjaja: Riki is one of my ol' buddies who has a very strong enterpreneur talents. He's doing many kind of business but his main line is manufacturing. Riki is a very cheerful and humorous guy, although actually he is a little bit kinda' shy and introvert. Karnelli Sadikin: Karnelli lives in Bandung with his lovely wife, Linda and his kids. We have many nice and fun memories together when we went for Study Trip (Widya-wisata) to central java together with Siong-siong, Bujung, Kazuo, Ramli and many others. Karnelli is man with very strong will. Once he made up his mind, nothing could ever stop him. Last time I met him he is working for furniture company 'SIGMA' as Sales Manager. But now I heard he is opening his own 'cafe' near his house at Bandung.
Rasjid Kazuo Pontoh: I have many things in common with Kazuo, except that he has 2 wifes. Ooops ... Gomen! iuchatta ... We both play and love music. We both speak Japanese. We both like to use new technology such as computer and electronic music. We used to play music together and we once made our own original recording in my house (my father used to have recording studio named: Gelora Seni). He plays guitar and bass, I play keyboard and piano. We once performed together in a band with Jubing, Herry and my brother Jundi. Now he made his own recording studio in his Tebet house. He cleverly blends his business and his hobby. He travel a lot to all over Indonesia coordinating Japan News Crew to do Shooting and Interviews, especially for TV Stations. Satrijanto Tirtawisata: Anto, is one of my close-friend who is very, very successful in business. He took over his father's business in travel agency and he blew the business ten times than it was before. He has a good sense of business, I think. Jubing Kristianto: Jubing is famous for his guitar. He can play guitar very well or I can say: Fascinating!. We went to the same university, same Faculty: Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia. He took Criminology while I took Anthropology as our Major. Now he works for NOVA, a local women tabloid magazine. And he lives in Jakarta with his charming wife, Renny. What impressed me about him is his easy-going life-style. I love to have such a life-style like him but I don't think I can afford it. Ramli: Ramli is a very bright and bold person. He is also almost bald. Opps ...... sorry, ram. No offense! Ramli is typical Blood A type kind of person. He is very strict and accurate. He is working in Batam now, which is very friendly environment for him because it is close to his home town. "Charlie Angels" (Sita, Tati & Dita): Sita, Tati & Dita are 3 uniques personalities. I don't know what are common between the three of them that makes them can go along together. We used to call them "Charlie Angels" for no obvious grounds to do so. Definitely no physical similarities or that sort of things. But they are very cheerful girls and every time I meet them my life will instantly become brighter. I thank god that I have a chance to know such nice peoples in my life. Amen. Herry Marhono: Herry used to worked together with me at the VAYATOUR, Indonesian leading travel agency. He used to be in the MICE (Meeting - Incentives - Convention & Exhibitions) department. He has many, many talents and he is very good in communications, both inter-personal and mass-communications. He quit from Vayatour several years ago, and he leads his way to become professional Master of Ceremony (M.C.). His obsession is to become M.C. in national television. I think he would someday, but after he gains a little bit more of weight. :) Hehehehe .... Herry enjoy travelling very much as I do. Toru Naito: Naito-san, it is how I address him, used to be my boss when I worked for a Japanese Consulting company in Jakarta. After I left the company, we still keep communicating with each other, because we shared the same interest in politics, social and economical issue. I learned a lot from him and I respect him very much. I enjoy every minutes of our discussion, because I can broaden my view and knowledge.
