Man's aspiration to fly seems to be as old as the birds which he watched. The reason we can travel in jets today is because man made real things out of dreams!
For the love of flying! This page is dedicated to all flying enthusiasts and ex-airline crew who still can't get rid of the bug.
The flying bug:
"Once it is in your blood, you can never get rid of it !"
Why I Decided To Make This Website
I was a stewardess for LUXAVIA AIRLINES from 1984 - 1994 when the airline unfortunately ceased to operate. LUXAVIA was the tour operator for LUXAIR, the national airline of Luxembourg-Europe, which is still in existence there today. The tour operator LUXAVIA (holding company TREK AIRWAYS) flew mostly the route Luxembourg - South Africa, three times weekly, and sometimes other European destinations and exotic ones like the Seychelles.
I have since worked for other airlines and in management positions, but unfortunately the economic situation forced all of them into closure.
I love aircraft and flying, having experienced it both from a cabin crew and light aircraft pilot's perspective.
Instead of writing all about it, I have made this Webpage into a type of photo gallery with explanations. Some photos are quite old or taken with an old camera, but I tried to scan them as best as I could.
I would like to hear from all flying enthusiasts out there, actively flying or not. Pilots, air crew, ground crew, civil, military or other. How about a nice crew from a spaceship. Simply anyone who has a passion for those lovely flying machines I would like to hear from.
If there are some other ex-stewardesses, air-hostesses, stew's, trolley dollies, galley nellies or the politically correct term, flight attendant / cabin crew, or simply "hosties" out there, send me your pictures and brief history and I make sure you will also get remembered on a cloud in a corner in the big sky, the World WideWeb.

A Little Piece Of The Web For Ex-Stewardesses
About me and lots of flight attendant pictures.
Three names for one and the same airline!? A little background information and pictures of all the aircraft I worked on.
For The Love Of Flying
More pictures of aeroplanes, from the very old to the very new. Most of them admired at different air shows. Also pictures of the planes work environment and surroundings, namely sky, clouds, and aerial views.
I am generally a big lover of all animals. I did however develop a passion for Hamsters. I am currently breeding the cute little fury things for all the pet shops in my area. By crossbreeding all different types I believe I got a new breed of Hamster. Some are snow white or black or both, with extremely long angora fur, especially on their bums.
My husband and I also have a pet cornsnake called "Einstein".
Here is photo gallery of some of my pets like dogs, ducks, pigs, axolotls, Siamese fighting fish and off course hamsters and our snake.
Airline humour: Jokes and humorous pictures.
Pictures which are non aircraft related (flowers, moon etc.) and other generally strange things I have been involved in.
I have been called a few affectionate names like "Hostienchen", but the name Luftmietze (airkitten) was given to me by a nice German family living in South Africa, and I got stuck with it ever since.
