Oslo, Norway, August, 2000

Unfortunately I don't have time to write a lot of description about Oslo (including a good story about a mysterious note from Anders and Carrie). Maybe someday I'll fill that in, but for now make do with a few photos and captions!

In front of Oslo University - the semester was about to start and the students were out buying and selling their used textbooks. Facundo says they do that in Argentina, too. I don't know why it hasn't caught on in the USA yet - it's a lot better than selling your texts back to the bookstore for 10% of what you paid for it!

These guys were cooler - they were selling textbooks and beer! The beer is in that crate beside them.
