In August, 2000, I went to visit my friend Facundo who was living in Halden, Norway. Before meeting up with Facundo and his mother (also visiting) in Halden, I traveled to Oslo, Bergen and through the fjords near Flam. I had flown to Norway on Icelandair because they offer really cheap tickets ("lucky fares") if your travel dates are flexible and you can go with very short notice. With any Icelandair ticket you can get a free lay-over in Iceland, so I spent a couple of days there on my way back to the U.S. I also spent a day in Sweden when Facundo took me sightseeing there. Iceland (5 pictures) - Unfortunately, my camera broke soon after I arrived in Iceland, so I don't have many pictures. But it was too foggy to see much anyway.
