"Welcome to MIKELENEA"

If you want to leave behind the traffic jams in the big cities, or you just love the outdoors, the rural house "Mikelenea" is the right place for you. You are looking at a very big and comfortable rural house, completely remodeled, that can perfectly host and give shelter to 16 people. It is located in the small town of Arruiz, province of Navarre (Spain), about 35 miles away from the touristic city of San Sebastian, and about 20 from Pamplone (town known for its "Running of the Bulls" week, the second week of July). Just 2 minutes away from the famous restaurant "Venta de Muguiro", this small agricultural town has a population of 70 people. Located in the "Larraun" valley, Aralar area, Arruiz has an optimal geographical situation for those who love practicing all kinds of outdoor activities. Such activities as hiking, wild-mushroom picking, fishing, hunting, or mountain-biking are frequently practiced by both locals and visitors. The wild-mushroom picking season, or local rivers and creeks (Basaburua, Larraun, or Araxes rivers), famously known for their brown-trout population, attract lots of mountaineers and fly-fishers. Also, in the town's "plaza", you can play the famous "basque handball" due to the recent construction of a new "frontón". Even sports such as golf can be practiced due to the proximity of the Zuazti and Ulzama golf courses. Here you have a map explaining the geopraphical location of Arruiz:

Focussing on "MIKELENEA" rural house, like we said, we are talking about a big, comfortable house, recently remodeled, with a capacity for around 16 people. It consists of 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 livingrooms, kitchen, and there is even a baby-crib. You can also find a small barn in the basement of the house to shelter your animals or pets (dogs, horses, cows...). ***IMPORTANT: “MIKELENEA” RURAL HOUSE IS ONLY RENTED OUT AS A WHOLE HOUSE (NOT JUST ROOMS). THE HOUSE CAN BE RENTED ON A WEEKLY BASIS, OR EVEN JUST FOR THE WEEKENDS.
