The Catholic St. Peter's Church (there's also a Protestant St. Peter's Church) was erected in memory of the canonized Archbishop of Armagh, Oliver Plunkett, who was executed in 1681 in Tyburn (near London). His emalmed head is kept in the church as a relic. |
