Who'd have thought that all those years of listening to reports from our parish priest out on
"Da Missions" in Malawi that I'd actually be going there? I wonder if I'll find anyone who knew him...Strange how ,when I look back to when I was a child in our parish I seem to have been given the impression the Malawi was all poor (which I'm sure it is) and therefore bleak and depressing and in need of our sympathy (which I'm sure its not). The holiday brochures describe it as a paradise where the people are friendly and the water is inviting - the "warm heart of africa". Either way you gotta love that flag.
