Tour Timeline : July 1999

Sometime in the 1970's the republic of Tanganika and Zanzibar joined and Tanzania was born. I recently met an old college buddy who was working in Mwanza. I don't think I'll tackle Kilimanjaro this time for the sake of my fiscal and physical health. Although July is a bad month to see it I'm looking forward to the Serengeti, also the thought of Zanzibar has kept me going to many a miserable galway evening. Follow me to Malawi or reverse to chicken country. Post Script Yip, Tanzania was pretty nice. Lots of exotic stories of Zanzibar beaches, lush scenary and nights throwing up in the Serengeti!
