And yes, I am back to Perhentian in March 2000. Perhentian has changed a lot. The beach has managed to remain as clean as it used to be 2 years ago, and there is much more variety in food and places to choose from for the night.

But the sad thing really is, the coral life has depleted, probably due to much trample and harrassement. There are not as many coral fishes as I used to see. 

Nevertheless, Perhentian Kecil has remained in its deserving beauty. But the authorities really has to be come in strict to keep the paradise intact in time to come.

Do remember this. I want to share these beautiful places with you, but do spare a thought and make an effort in preserving beauty in its own state and nature. Avoid trampling over corals or curious contacts. Do keep the beach clean and save your rubbish for the bin. Hopefully, Perhentian can remain this beautiful for generations to come!
