When you hear those low notes that add extra special quality to The Moffatts' music - that's Dave! When Bob is singing lead, however, Dave tackles the high notes - quite a range! Dave's instrument of choice was the keyboard. He is the one who got The Moffatts started in their singing career when he started singing "Somewhere Out There" from An American Tale when he was only three-years-old! Dave is named after his godfather who plays hockey in the NHL for Vancouver. The fisherman of the group, his coolest experience was on a trip to Florida where they all went deep sea fishing. A major fan of Baywatch with a love for the ocean have no doubt influenced the fact that blue is his favorite color. Dave is often considered the bohemian and sensitive member of the band because he devotes time to poetry and painting.
