THE
MOFFATTS STORY
Make no mistake, the
Moffatts definitely aren't 'just another boy band'. When we
were lucky enough to catch 'em live in Portugal, these brothers were
on a four-man mission from Planet Raawk. And the 3000 screaming
fans were loving it!
But
it wasn't always like that...
The boys' first venture
into music came when the triplets were three years old. "We were
in the studio, recording a song for our gran's Christmas
present," explains Clint, "and hundreds of people had
gathered round, listening."
From those humble
beginnings the Moffatts were soon performing at charity events, and by
the time Scott was eight, they had record their first album, a
'country-pop' effort called It's A Wonderful World.
It's
1999... let's rock!
They've already played
at The White House, visited 31 different countries and been
seen on TV by 20 million people, but ten years and three albums down
the line, the boys are ready to make a fresh start with their new
album, Chapter 1: A New Beginning. "We called it that 'cos
when we started out, our shows were us line dancing and singing
country songs," laughs Bob. "Now we're playing all our own
instruments and rockin' out."
Are
they the new Hanson?
"They're
a great band, but we're more rock than them." says Clint.
"Oasis are brothers too - we're more like them
