Glasgow

The next day was the day of the big footy match! To say I was excited was a total understatement!
We met up with Lynn's friends the next day and got shown around their awesome house. It looked out directly over the Clyde river....an amazing view!

Then we went to the footy in two groups. Lynn, Callum and Lynn's friend were going up to the corporate box, with free booze, free food, and probably the best view you can get! While Me, and the two kids watched from the stands. This was cool with me (although I did miss the free booze!) because Ibrox is set up so well that you can see from just about anywhere anyway. I had told myself that I was going to support the underdogs that day

but once the game got going I just got swept up in the atmosphere and before long I was cheering for Rangers too! I had a blast and promised myself that this would not be the last football game I watched while I'm over here!
After the game I was going to meet up with Catriona, the Scottish girl I met in Seattle. She was with her friend in Glasgow for the weekend. I wanted to see Lynn and see how he enjoyed the box seat before I went, but with entire crowd from the stands headed for the same the tube entrance as me

I took the advice of the kids with me and got in line before the line became too much.
Above are another couple of photos I took in Guarock...such a nice town. To the left is a pic of my cousin Callum (sporting his brand new Rangers jersey!) and my uncle Lynn.

And now, into Glasgow...
