Derry

I think both Derry and Belfast both really brought home the reality of what was going on over here, before that I think I probably only had a slight grasp of the troubles, mostly gained from the international press. Whose basic summation was Northern Ireland = IRA = Bombs = Bad news. I don't pretend at this stage to fully understand the struggle in depth, but by the time I left Ireland (8 months later, so much for the 4 week trip hey?) I felt I knew which side I was on.

So as the sun set over beautiful Derry, Dan and I turned our sights to our next destination.....Donegal.
