Rome
To the left is one of the works of art in the Vatican museum that stood out for me. The entire place is so beautiful that you find yourself becoming very fussy about what you like and what you don't.
I really enjoyed the museum simply because I got to do it at my own pace. I arrived with 6 other people, but by the time I had struggled my way into the damn place, I had managed to lose all of them!
The picture on the right doesn't even begin to catch the detail and workmanship put into this ceiling. It reminds me abit of the hall of mirrors at Versaille. Each square you can make out is actually a work of art on its own. Then you have all the gold-work running the length of the hallway.....I could have spent hours in here....
