Well, I finally arrived in London and got to see my cuzzy (Tatum, pictured below) which was great, especially after travelling around by myself. I was really looking forward to having some company that I had known for longer than 2 minutes! Not that the company I had met til now was bad, but....well you know what I mean!
The plan of attack in London was to survive a month while spending as little as poss so I had plenty to spend when we hit Europe . . . .it kinda worked . . .
I stayed with Tatum and her flatmate Nicola (see the rather tall young lady in the picture at the bottom) in Stevenage for a week, when I first got here, which was brilliant. Although it was a fair hike to get to London each day, but I still cruised in most days and checked out a few touristy sights like Big Ben, the Houses of Parliment, all the usual things. Nothing was really planned, I just sort of stumbled around bumping into things. |

The lovely young ladies in the pic on the left are Tatum (my cousin and fellow traveller aka Prima), Nicola (Tatums flatmate/workmate and the wonderful person who not only let me stay at her place for a week, but at the end of that week organised for me to stay at her parents place til I took off for Paris, isn't she wonderful?), and Angela (the third member of our wee travelling group, aka Le Grand Fluff) |
