Manila By Night
Feel the heartbeat of Manila’s nightlife where the main ingredients of total entertainment - good food, drinks and live music - begins to throb at sunset and last till wee hours of the morning. Start off with dinner in a Filipino restaurant to savor local cuisine at its best before moving to one of Ermita’s popular folkhouse, “The Hobbit House” , to enjoy live entertainment performed by local band while being served with a drink or two by dwarf wait people. Next, stroll along Mabini’s crowded streets until reaching “ The Library”, the favorite watering hole of young trendsetter, amateur stand-up comic and would-be singers then have a nightcap in one of the open-air cafes at Remedios Circle before turning in the night at your hotel.
Lush Pagsanjan
Pagsanjanlies deep in the heart of coconut plantations, rice fields and fruit farms. After a two and a half hour drive south of Manila, disembark at a riverside hotel and transfer to a dug of canoe. From there, your boatman nimbly “shoot the rapids”, skillfully steering through swirling waters and huge boulders until you reach the famous waterfalls. Return to the riverside hotel for lunch. Leave for Manila with short stop-over at Paete, a small town known for its woodcarving and paper mache industries.
