This is my first venture into creating a page, so there will be changes as I go along. There is so much I could say about me, and what's goin on in my life.... but that's later. I have met people from all across the U S (none from Europe or Asia.... yet!), been blessed with wonderful friendships, had new and exciting experiences, and immense personal and professional growth. Life is just too short and the world is too big to live in a "cage", to be born, live, and die in the same state, city, or neighborhood for that matter! Get out and explore! | My Family Life | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Nothing, and I mean nothing on this earth are more important than my children. Nothing even comes close! God has blessed me with five of my own, plus the love of another, that although is not of my blood, I've raised as my own and still consider my child. In all, I have five stunning, quite ambitious daughters (lawyers and doctors in the making), and my only son, who is as lovable as they come. | A word to the parents out there..... They are our future indeed. Please, stop trying to be your child's friend, and concentrate on being their parent! Doing this does your child such a disservice. Believe it or not, children need and crave disipline and structure. It gives them security and balance. We are losing our children! The greatest gift you could ever give your child is the gift of love (which includes disipline), followed very closely by a solid education. Not doing this only hurts them. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Hmmmm.....there are several things that I could think of. Besides family, other things important to me, although not necessarily in order, are Life, Love and Relationships, music (a true Jazz buff), gourmet cooking, all sports (even lacrosse can be interesting!), skiing, home remodeling projects (I'm very skilled with my hands....) art, the beach, foreign travel, walks in the rain, sunsets (mmmm..), romantic interludes and secret rendezvous (wooo wooo), candlelight, full moons, and the list could go on and on.... I also dabble in poetry... kinda shows my romantic side! Here's a sample:

Radiant crayon blue skies ~~ endless basking in the warmth, the glow that is your smile ~~ inviting, loving... serene, yet intense... coming home to roost in the nest that is your embrace... | I've actually met some incredible people over the web, not only on Yahoo!, but on AOL and Black Voices as well, and I would like to give them their props... go and see my shout outs!! I have two shout out pages, one for those I've met, and another for those I have yet to meet, but would absolutely love to! I travel as frequently as I can, and I'm always looking to meet new people. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| As my travels continue to take me where ever they lead, my shout outs hopefully will continue to grow. I eventually will put together a "cyber" photo album of all the people I've had the pleasure and priviledge of meeting. Check back often for updates! I plan to travel back over to Europe in the near future (It's an incredible place in the Spring!), and take another (my 4th) cruise... although where I don't know yet (Aruba sounds good!)
