Antwerp culture. To try the local beer ask for a Bolleke, no I'm not swearing thats the name of the 'bowl' like glass that beer is served in. Even better order 2 and you can ask for a pair of Bollekes!

My favourite pubs, bars, restaurants:

Pelican Dream: Good Belgian bar with a good aptmosphere, usually good music (classical rock).
Brasserie Tarazines: This is situated opposite the king-kong like KB building. The food is excellent and consistently so.
Le Caveau - Situated in the Bus Station 2 minutes walk from the Gaumont cinema and not far from the Centraal Station. Huge cafe with beatiful vaulted ceiling situated in an old Opera House. Have not tried the food here.
