Sorry It has taken me a while to get back to you.

Just back in the UK after an amazing time in Costa Rica.

 Thank you once again for helping make my time there so memorable.

 I have dived all over the world: the Red Sea, Indonesia, South Africa to  name but a few places and with some big operations. Your operation though  was without doubt the best run. Your Instructors are all excellent. David in particular I warmed to. To use English parliance - such a good bloke. He is  the kind of diver I aspire to be. I was also very impressed by how safety conscious Deep Blue are. Obviously the most important consideration.
Anyway, you immediately put me at my ease with your thorough and professional approach.


 I'm forwarding a copy of this e mail to Lonely Planet in the hope that
they will take it into account when they update their Costa Rica handbook!
In the meantime a big hello to the guys and thank you once again for helping

Really enjoyed the 2 day referal course and it made alot more sense than
the 2 days we had spent doing the padi basics in Englands.I was apprehensive
about the fact that it was alot cheaper than everyone else but it proves
that quality does  not necesarily have to come with a premium.

This is a greeting to you and your staff from the "Cold North". No, honestly the extreme winter has not yet hit us here in Stockhlom, but we will soon be under a white blanket.

I had for a couple of years heard about the beautiful country of Costa Rica and especially about the splendid dive sites. 

I was very happy with all your arrangements before departure, during the trip and upon the return. Your staff at the center gave me all necessary information and treated me in a very polite way. Negro and his mate onboard acted in a very professional way and made sure everyone was comfortable and safe.

Back to Austria I have to write that it was pretty amazingly for me to dive with you guys, nothing was missing. Mantas and hell of amounts of rays at Catalina Island,  Bull Sharks at Bat Islands, what else you need in your diving days, maybe sometimes a better visibility.

We made it back to the states ok.  Only one carry on, showed our passports about four times prior to passing the bomb sniffing dogs, otherwise no problem.  Ate at TGI Fridays at the Atlanta airport with plastic flatware and had my minature nose hair scissors confiscated, no big deal.

Coco was really nice.  Diving with you was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.  I´d recommend you guys to anyone.  We´ll definitely try to take you up on the Mt. Dew offer.  Hopefully, the tourist business won´t be as dismal as everone is predicting this year.

Thanks very much for the great 2 dives we did with you!  They were so good (locally) that we didn´t need to go to Catalina´s.  We saw a big white tipped reef shark, baby sharks in a cave and 4 spotted eagle rays.  Furthermore, many eels and lots of beautiful fishes.

Also, the boatride was very relaxed and you took good care of us, both inside and outside the water.

This is John Prater and I just wanted to say thank you for a great experience and great diving in Coco.  I really had a good time and look forward to maybe seeing you next year.  On another note, on my return trip home, I being an airline employee, was kicked off my flight in Guatemala City for paying passengers.  I think I will get a T-shirt made saying "Americans lost in Central America…If found, please send home!" Anyway, I made friends with some United employees there and had a great time.  The next day I got on my flight and made it home.  Once again, thanks and maybe next year.

I want to thank you for the wonderful first diving experience!  I visited Costa Rica from June 23^rd to July 2^nd, but only had the opportunity to dive once.  Among all the people in my family who dove, I was by far the most anxious.  Santos, or ¨Negro¨was great.  He calmed me down during a mild panic episode and stuck by me throughout the dive to ensure my sanity and safety!  Well, I´m so glad that he did because the underwater world was spectacular.  After being the last one off the platform during dive #1, I was the first one off for dive #2!

I will highly recommed your establishment to all my diving friends.  Your employees were knowledgeable, caring and spirited.  Their smiles were contagious!  My only regret was that you were out of large and XXL T-shirts during my visit.

Dear Terry and Billy,

Thank you for the dives and courtesy you both extended to me.  If I had the opportunity to do it again, the only thing I would change would have been to stay longer and had more dives in a day.  When I think back on my vacation I enjoyed it all, but the diving always brings the brightest smile on my face.  I´m thinking that I may get back into the sport again.  Do some dives off Vancouver, and perhaps plan on some more warm water trips.  

The effort that you made on my last day of diving was far and above what I ever expected.  The costs and effort to go out to the Catalinas with only two client, and the courtesy of allowing me an extra dive was a tremendous kindness.  I realize that at best you barely covered your operating costs, and earned nothing for yourselves.  I have worked in the travel/adventure tourism industry for over a decade, and it is rare to see such a generosity given to clients. 

As I work with my clients this winter I will try to give them the same attention and consideration given me.  It is now much more evident to me, just how the guide can enhance the experiende.
