These two pictures are of the same door section. One is scaned in gray scale and one is scaned in color. I use both the color and grey scale scans to see which one provides the best visual of the issue. As you can see the paint is peeling off the wood and the wood trim is showing signs of cracking. This has been an ongoing problem for the better part of the last 3 years and started about 6 months after the house was built. But at least I have no major problems and it is excellent construction.

I feel fortunate to have such an excellent built house with no major issues. I count my blessings daily that I don't have a new house with a lot of construction problems.
