| I flew from Brisbane to Narita Tokyo on JAL,
there are a really good airline. The trip took 8 hours and I only lost
one hour on the timeline, so was not really jet lagged. JAL is a really
good airline.
I had a night and a day here, arriving late in the afternoon. The next day after breakfast , a couple of other Australian ladies and I went up to the local Temple to look around . The cute shop fronts along the way were really interesting and the temple gardens a real relief after the hustle bustle of the traffic in the streets. The Japanese sure know how to make gardens and especially water gardens look tranquil. I found most things in Japan very expensive , even small souvenirs. |
