Who am I ? Well I'm Suzanne (as you've probably learned already). I live in Edinburgh which is the capital of Scotland and quite a beautiful city. There's plenty to do, lots of history and places to visit, pubs that are open till the wee hours and a lot of good restaurants too. To earn a living I'm a Software Engineer for Agilent Technologies and I've been writing code, testing, designing, supporting, eating and living telecommunications software Monday to Friday for the last few years. It's a great company to work for and they were kind enough to let me have a year out to do my travel bit as well.

Before that I did a Bsc (Hons) degree in Computer Science and Management Science at Edinburgh University. I finished that relatively unscathed and with the ability to prop up a bar until 4am. I also managed not to become a techie (or even a trekkie for that matter). I do miss my student days, but I think it's more the lifestyle rather than the endless all nighters in the lab to finish projects on time and the lack of cashflow.....

At the moment I have a few interests which I've listed below. They are not in any particular order of preference !

Travelling
Keeping Fit (Gym, Swimming Aerobics, running...)
Eating chocolate and foreign food (especially Mexican & Thai)
Visiting the Pub (not too much)
Cinema going
Sleeping (or generally being horizontal)
Computers are alright too I suppose.
