Besides school, I have involved in serving the community and helping others:

• President of VINS at the University of Houston (Vietnamese InterNational Students Organization) in 2002.

• Secretary of Honor Society Omega Chi Epsilon (OXE) for Chemical Engineer in 2004.

• Volunteer as Peer Advisor to help International Office with Check-in and Orientation of Fall 2001, Spring and Fall 2002, Spring and Fall 2003.

• Volunteer in the Fall 2001 International Education Week Program.

• Guitar bass player of praise team at Vietnamese Baptist Church.

• Member of Golden Key International Honour Society.

• Member of Phi Beta Delta (Honor Society for International Scholars).

• Member of AIChE (National & UH Chapter).

• Associate member of Sigma Xi (The Scientific Research Society).
