| Isaac C. Rhew and Gloria Fann Rhew
Isaac was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon. He attended public schools in Eugene and Stanford for undergraduate. His degree is in Psychology. Isaac is an accomplished cellist. He was principal cellist for Eugene Youth Symphony, Boston University Tanglewood Music Festival, National High School All Honor Orchestra, Kennedy Center, Washington D.C., and Stanford University Symphony Orchestra. He played a cello concerto with Eugene Youth Symphony in high school freshman year and with Eugene Symphony in sophomore year for a concert for Eugene area youths. Playing for Yoyo Ma at master classes in Lake Lucerne, NY. and Tanglewood, MS were some of highlights of his high school activities. Isaac worked as a research assistant/coordinator for a professor of Psychology at Stanford, Department of Psychiatry, San Francisco VA Hospital, is now working at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. Gloria was born in Colorado and raised in Mercer Island, Washington. She attended public schools in Mercer Island and Stanford to receive a B.A. in Human Biology. Gloria is also an accomplished musician in flute and piano. Gloria was principal cellist for Seattle Youth Symphony and Stanford University Symphony Orchestra. She played a piano concerto with Mercer Island High School Symphony and Band. Gloria is expected to get her M.D from University of Washington in June 2003. Campus Christian fellowship activities and music brought Gloria and Isaac together, and got married in December 2001, and are living in Seattle. |
