The Zoo
The few zoos we've seen in Asia seem more like torture chambers for animals than homes for them. The Singapore Zoo is an exception. The animals there get to hang out amidst lush vegetation and, if they appreciate nice views, well then they're all set -- the zoo has more than a few. The experience is very nice for humans to. There is a separate night zoo where you can check out nocturnal beasties, and when the urge strikes, you can visit the zoo's award winning toilets -- toilets that manage to combine all the modern amenities with the feeling of being in a jungle. It's worth drinking tea all day just to have an excuse to visit often.
