The City Singapore is a city Bonnie and I could happily call home. Some find it's strict laws against such innocent activities as chewing gum and urinating in elevators a little Draconian -- but frankly, they didn't cramp our style too much. A multicultural, clean, centrally located city in the tropics with lush vegetation and great food is not hard to take. Once upon a time, there was the risk that you'd be fined for forgetting to flush the toilet, but now the toilets flush themselves -- and you can always run to neighbouring Indonesia or Malaysia if you get the mad urge to pee in an elevator. Walking toward the downtown core
Everything is just so neat and clean
A shot from a bridge
This guy, and a few snakes downtown, served to remind us we were in the tropics
