You can find useful links and information about Budapest and Hungary at the bottom of this page. Budapest is divided by the river Danube that runs from The Black Forest to The Black Sea. Buda is hilly and Pest is flat. The House of Parliament lies on the Pest side. I took all of the pictures.

If you want to Come To Budapest, it's worth buying the BUDAPEST CARD. It's valid for two or three days. With this card you can travel by all Public Transportations (buses, trams, subways, trolleybuses, etc.). Budapest has a very good public transportation system, you can get to anywhere by useing it. With this card you can go to a lot of Museums and Sights free of charge. You also get discounts at Sightseeing and Cultural Programmes, Baths, Restaurants and Shops. When you buy this card you also get a Brochure in which you find a list with locations of the Museums, Sights, etc. where this card is accepted.

Of the three underground lines, it is Line No. 1 (yellow), the Millennium Line, which is the most remarkable: at the time of its construction in 1896 it was the only underground railway in continental Europe.
