You can find useful links and information about Budapest and Hungary at the bottom of this page. Budapest is divided by the river Danube that runs from The Black Forest to The Black Sea. Buda is hilly and Pest is flat. The House of Parliament lies on the Pest side. I took all of the pictures.

Of the three underground lines, it is Line No. 1 (yellow), the Millennium Line, which is the most remarkable: at the time of its construction in 1896 it was the only underground railway in continental Europe.
