SATURDAY, AUGUST 30, 1997

This is the big day! Boy was I shaking. I was petrified of getting on that plane. I don't why. I was so nervous, yet I was excited and I couldn't wait to get there.

We got to the airport at 9:30 a.m.. We had a couple of cigarettes and checked in our luggage. We headed for the plane by 10:20. It was so hard to say goodbye to our boyfriend's. We had an awesome pilot. The take-off was nothing. It actually felt kind of neat. We didn't hit one air pocket which I wasn't looking forward too anyway. We flew Delta Express by the way. The only bad thing was that it was small. I felt like I was sitting on top of the guy next to me. Of course, Jen got the window seat.

The landing was really smooth. I didn't even realize that we hit the ground. We even made it there 25 minutes early. Hooray! For that pilot. Orlando International Airport was gorgeous. The place had a tram from the terminals to the main building where you got your luggage. I was in awe of the place. This was the first time I had ever seen palm trees. They were even in the building. We got our luggage pretty quick and headed outside to find Mear's Motor Coach. They were going to bring us to our hotel, The All-Star Music Resort.

We got to the All-Star Music Resort by 3:30. We got to check-in right away! We found out we were staying in the Rock Inn(I forget which building#). It was a 1/4 of a mile away! It took us forever. Jen, kept getting aggrivated because she would try to pull her luggage on the wheels and it kept tipping over. It was pretty funny. But it was humid and it got her even more aggrivated.

After we got settled in, we decided to head over to the Disney Village Marketplace and get a bite to eat at the Rainforest Cafe. The bus system at this hotel is really easy. There were 4 or 5 different stops. All were very clear and quick to catch a bus. When we got to DVM, we went right to the Rainforest Cafe and made reservations. The wait was about an hour. They said that they would call us at 6:27, so we decided to go to the World of Disney.

The World of Disney store was huge! So many things to see! We even got lost in there.

We got back to the Rainforest Cafe and were called at exactly 6:27. We got seated in the Gorilla section. It was really neat. There was a wall of rain seperating me from the life-like gorilla's. Tom, our waiter, was a riot. He explained to us all the sections. Gorilla, Elephant, Bats, Leopards and monkeys hanging from the ceiling. They each did their own thing. Every 22 minutes, a thunderstorm occured. When he sat a couple at the table next to us, he made me explain it to them to see if I was paying attention. It was really cool. The portions are good, too.

After we ate, we went shopping again at the World of Disney. This time we bought what we saw earlier. I have to say the quality of the workers are great. I wanted this castle and the cashier, or cast member, as they call them, saw that it was broken. It took her 25 minutes to come back with it but she gave me a new one. I couldn't thank her enough. We ended up having our stuff shipped to our room. That was great, especially, since I spent almost $200 there. It only takes one day for the delivery.

We headed back for our hotel at 9. We checked out our hotel shop, Maestro Mickey's. Then we went and bought those refillable mugs for $7.99. I thought it was well worth the money.

WEATHER: Hot, Humid with some Lightening.

CROWD: A lot of people here.
