First Nations

Dauphin River: Located at the junction of the Dauphin River and Lake Winnipeg, Dauphin River First Nation, with its natural beauty and breathtaking scenery, has much to offer the outdoor enthusiast at any time of the year. Known best for its fishing, Dauphin River is home to many Master Angler Awards from Walleye to Northern Pike. Guiding is available for those who are feeling adventurous. The most popular fishing sports include the Warpath and Mantago Rivers where many trophy-sized Northern Pike and Walleye await you.

Pinaymootang (Fairford) First Nation: Fairford First Nation is located on picturesque landscape between Lake Manitoba and Lake St. Martin. Situated off No. 6 Highway, 2-1/2 hours north of Winnipeg, Fairford First Nation has many attractions and experiences to offer.

Fisher River:

Lake Manitoba: Located on the Dog Creek Indian Reserve, which is located in central Manitoba along the northeast shore of the lower basin of Lake Manitoba approximately 170 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg and 36 kilometres west of Eriksdale.

Lake St. Martin: Located ten minutes off Provincial Road 513, Lake St. Martin First Nation features acres and acres of beautiful pastoral lands, couched neatly against Lake St. Martin. visitors can enjoy peaceful hikes through the wilderness, canoe trips along the Lake and/or exciting hunting adventures along rugged terrain. Bear, moose and deer are some of the many animals ready to challenge the hunter in you. Skilled outfitters are readily available for extended trips.

Little Saskatchewan: Located just 20 minutes off of No. 6 Highway on Common Market Road, Little Saskatchewan First Nation is the destination of choice for true wilderness seekers and outdoor adventurers. Located on the shores of Lake St. Martin, Little Saskatchewan serves as the starting base for Many wondrous wilderness adventures down the pristine waterways of the Interlake.
