Port Borden Front Range Lighthouse, July, 1998
The Port Borden Front Range Lighthouse and the associated rear range lighthouse were built in 1917 to guide traffic into Borden. Today they both show their age.
I visited the Borden range lights on one of my early morning outings in the summer of 1998, actually on my first day on Prince Edward Island.
The photograph above shows the front range light with the Confederation Bridge, which runs between New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, and the Port Borden Pier Lighthouse in the background.
