Since this picture was taken, the white bimini over the cockpit has been replaced with a custom hard dodger built to lines drawn by Sparkman Stevens, the original firm who designed the boat.

This was taken at Fetchin' Ketch's haulout in August 2006.

New hull and bottom paint, new zincs, and repacked stuffing box were all done at this time. Both masts were pulled, and had conduit installed to quiet the slapping wires. Lots of other miscellaneous work done in a made rush of yard work between jobs!

We're most proud of the topside paint job using a one-part polyurethane. It came out looking great!

The fiberglass hull is heavily built with longitudinal stringers and four partial bulkheads. Hull thickness is 1" midway from the keel to the waterline, ¾" at the water line, and ½" at the topsides, far sturdier than most hulls.

The keel is a ¾ design, with 9,500 pounds of external lead, and draws only 4'9". Total displacement is 24,000 lbs.

Note the shiny paint on the topsides!
