Octopus Royalty and Ally Spirit

I have conducted interviews with every type of Name-giver and even my fair share of spirits. However, this ranks as one of the most bizarre, disturbing experiences I have ever been a part of.
After a long day of walking, I was looking forward to a nice rest. Alas, it was not to be. No sooner had I closed my eyes than I was awoken by a screeching spirit of hideous visage. Using polite words spoken by a banshee's voice, I was told to proceed immediately to the home of one Hithloday in Yistaine. If I did not proceed in due haste, I was informed that I would miss my one chance to conduct an interview with, and I quote, "The Greatest Octopus in the World."
Despite my weariness, I proved true to my name and quickly covered the distance to Yistaine. My forbodings about this interview were confirmed when I saw that Hithloday's residence was a giant skull. When I knocked, the door opened of its own volition. A trail of bones and limbs led the way down some stairs. No sooner had I finished descending the stairs than my head was covered by some amorphous shape and I was...tickled. Yes, obsidimen can be ticklish but if you value existence, make it a point never to mention the fact. I admit this only for posterity purposes.
Somehow the tickling was manipulated to coax my body into a seat that would support my frame. Once I was seated, the form flew off me and I saw that I was in a dimly lit room. However, the lights were arranged in spotlight fashion on a small octopus in the middle of the room. He was unlike any creature I had seen before. He was purple with large, expressive eyes and a row of sharp teeth.
"Gwahaha! Look at me! I'm an ally spirit!"
