The Secret of Steel

     There are many that - while not denying the effectiveness of the gun as a weapon - question the integrity of a form of death that offers such anonymity and dispassion as it does. Killing from a distance seems allows a weaker morality and an illusion of disconnection to the death that is dangerous - even unacceptable - in any true warrior.
     With the blade... you must look your combatant in the eye and see the spark fade... you feel the rush of their life as it flows over your hands... and you must bear the responsibility of ending that soul's sojourn of mortality. Steel is a weapon of conscience and morality... both things that are dearly needed by every warrior.
    By no stretch of the imagination is this a complete listing of bladed and steel weapons... nor is it even a comprehensive representation of every variety of given steel. It represents benchmarks within types of weapons, and in many cases the best version of a given type that I have seen.
