I'm a nineteen year-old freshman at University of Colorado. I've lived in Colorado for the last six years, and I'm originally from outside of Chicago. Aside from spending more time on the internet than I do sleeping and eating, I'm in the Marching Band and I work part-time at the School of Journalism, keeping student records. I'm currently open option, but I'm looking into a double degree in Computer Science and News Editorial, with perhaps some minor in Education, Music or English.
When I'm not studying (I hardly ever study) or on the computer (hardly ever off!), I participate in the Kittredge Honors Program, which is a group of 120-something students who get together in smaller groups and do all sorts of neat activities--skiing, coffee shops, movie nights, things like that. I like to rollerblade, which is my main transportation around campus. I also rock climb--an activity that a good friend got me hooked on. I rock climb about twice a week at the Recreation Center here at the university.
I also play Advanced Dungeons and Dragons (although not nearly as often as I'd like to), which is NOT a Satanic game, or a suicide game, or a druggie game, no matter what you might have heard. Check out my resume, and decide for yourself that Advanced Dungeons and Dragons has changed my behavioral patterns to the point of an evil psychological condition. Just check out my whole site! I'm living proof!
I was in 4-H for seven years. I learned about basic electronics, spreadsheets, forest/prairie/river conservation, model rocketry, art (I do some black pencil art--nothing spectacular), foreign cuisine, pies, how to hold a bank account and how to lead meetings. For a list of my awards from 4-H, click here!
