Mailing List Help

This document gives technical help and advice concerning use of the mailing list.

General

The mailing list sends a digest of all mail messages sent to the list to all subscribers. It is also archived. Mail for the list should be sent to arcadia@phoenyx.net with a subject line that will help tracing messages in the archive. Guidelines for messages themselves are given in the house rules and beginner's guide. In particular, please note that replying to a message sent through the list sends the message to the list not to the originator.

Mailing List Commands

The following commands can be used to subscribe/unsubscribe and perform other functions. Messages including these commands should be sent to majordomo@phoenyx.net with no subject line. The commands should be entered in the body of the message, one per line without quotation marks. For 'list' type arcadia.

For a quick subscribe, send a blank e-mail to arcadia-on@phoenyx.net

For a quick unsubscribe, send a blank e-mail to arcadia-off@phoenyx.net
