This is a great course to practice using the Z button for skidding around turns and to practice using the boost. (Press forward on the control stick release A then press it again to get a boost). Slide through the more narrow openings by using c-left or c-right to turn your racer on it's side. There's a long straightaway toward the end of the course that's great for boosting. Don't let your engine overheat by holding the A button too long, and avoid the larger boulders. They won't just slow you down, they'll blow you up!

	This is the shortest of all the courses. Don't waste your time (or your lead) searching for shortcuts, there aren't any. Despite one fairly sharp turn I found this the easiest of all the courses. If your careful, you can use the boost after coming out of a turn and soon you'll find yourself passing the slower racers who are still a lap behind you!

Finally, the first course to offer a shortcut! Not one, mind you, but several! Veer to the left after the first section of road with flags, and break through the thin wall of ice to access the first shortcut. When you get to the stone archway, veer to the right instead of passing through it and skim the ridge to find the second shortcut. A third shortcut will open after you finish your first lap. You'll see a tunnel open on the left as you approach the finish line.

	The track is split by large medians in three spots at the beginning of the race. The entrance to the first shortcut is to the right of third median. The second shortcut is also to the right, as you exit the tram tunnel. It may not look like a shortcut, but it's better suited for picking up speed and using your thrust.

	As you exit the first tunnel of this track, head to the right at the fork to take the shorter route. Inside the next tunnel, when the track splits into three paths stay in the middle and take advantage of this straighter area by using your thrust.

	Yes, a track with a vengeance! No shortcuts, just a lot of fancy steering. Don't be afraid to let go of the A button or pull back on the control stick to reduce your speed. Use your airbrakes or the Z button when appraoching tricky turns. And don't forget to use left and right on the C pad for narrow openings.

	Keep to the right until you reach the three way split, where you'll want to take the center path. Keeping to the right in this track is your best bet in most area's, however, watch out for a crane that may block a tunnel from time to time.
