Sadly Shigeru Miyamoto, Zelda's creator and Nintendo's top dog, revealed at a recent press interview that he is NOT working on another version of Zelda ( much to the crowds disappointment as groans were heard throughout the room) unfortunately Miyamoto believes that with the current technology there is nothing innovative for him to add to a new title in the series.

This seems to have hit the Ura (another) Zelda theory for six as Miyamoto revealed that he was placing all of his time into developing the under performing 64dd software which he believed was 'delayed by the protracted development time of Zelda 64'.

For those of you who have already turned on the taps and got out the razor DONT DO IT, there is some good news, Miyamoto hinted on his latest game, which, whilst not Link orientated is something we have been waiting for with much anticipation, a more in depth feature is on the page Move over Link.

 Oh well, it looks like we could have another 7 year wait before the next Zelda game, we all know it will be worth it, don't we?
