Ignorance is bliss,
Simplicity divine.

Charius

A man born of Chaosian father and a mother of fae race, he is unique. No stereo-type fits this uncommon soul; niether advanced in any practice of arms and armor, nor mastery over arcane lore or powerful magiks, depending upon your personal opinion of mastery. Sun tanned features with a hint of a green tint to them mark less than pure human ancestory, and sky blue eyes are not only alight with an inner incandesance, but on ocassion an outer one as well. Many years spent on the near endless sea of his birth shadow - sailing, swimming - have lead to serviceable muscles and a suitable physique. Long brown hair, sun tanned like the rest of him, travels down past his shoulders; curling and waving where it chooses.

That unnamed and unknown birth shadow he comes from, life until maturity spent within, is uncommon in design. A 'water world', nearly ninety percent of it is a single freshwater ocean; small islands dotting it at random. Among these rare and coveted islands is a special one with a specific purpose, that being the arcane teaching of the art of Sorcery. With women being the most magically potent as a rule, a talented male is a rare find. With his part Chaosian bloodline, Charius was one such find. Sent to this island at a young age by those who raised him, being one of two males among many women was an experience for Charius, to say the least. Both socially and sexually. The majority of his time was not dedicated to the opposite sex, however, but his art, and a duel talent for manipulation of magical energies was accompanied by music, and a love for a combination of the two soon followed. Little else could be expected, giving the nature of Sorcery use in that shadow. It's an instrumental magic, usually in the form of the four elements, in the context that all mystical manipulation comes through sound in this land, whether creating a large watery wave with a triumphant repeating chord from a guitar, or a quiet lullaby by flute causing someone to float upon a breeze. Charius himself turned out to be most adept in the latter instrument, and a wooden flute is never far from his side.

"A man who always wears his mind on his sleeve, Charius sometimes appears to be shirtless..."

As unique as his now lost home, it could be said Charius' nature is simple, if not naive. Not one for violence, any skill in peacemaking is minimal due to a fundamental casual attitude, the least which manifests itself in an anti-status manner of thought, though that's not to say he isn't polite. Not rebellious, it's simply a matter of unbringing, as much is in life. In a completely peaceful shadow, it's understandable. Why shouldn't everyone be the same?

Danelli

With Charius spending more time in Chaos at Helgram, where he has accepted a position to help Koori-Henka with trade for the House, he has left Danelli to a much greater degree to his brother, Dantel. Not at all minding the weight taken off his shoulders, Charius does much the same as ever: Talk casually with his friends and people he knows, learn more about Chaos, Amber, and everything in between, and, of course, play his flute for his own and others entertainment. With the house at his whim, Dantel has made some adjustments. Mist now crawls the halls, while lights are dimmer. Subdued. Magic is the main subject explored, and with Damia apparant gone deep into shadow, it's not of the healing variety. The house now has a darker theme to it, though not to say evil. And beauty of the natural variety still remains outside in the small piece of shadow Danelli has claimed for it's own. Below, you'll find a truely exquisit example of that beauty. Credit goes to Jonathon Earl Bowser who painted it. For more info on it, clink here. The playgroup is open to all chars who'd like to find a place in it's halls and lands. Feel free to page/+mail Charius/Ryker or Dantel anytime.
