Chat Gaming Online is a place where you can play board and RPG games over the 'net for absolutely FREE. We do not charge of any of our services and do not provide any guarauntees that the time slot you choose will be open.

We are a non-profit organization who are dissapointed at the prices needed to be paid for internet gaming, especially RPGs. These types of games can be played over simple chat lines in the following format:

One of the players booking time will have to be the game master. The game master regulates the game and has a copy of a sheet, characters, mech whatever needed. He keep track of player hit points, damage, board pieces, whatever. So do the players, but if there is a conflict, or if a player would like to verify something, the GM is there. With some games, the GM might have to take an active part in the game by play as NPCs and whatnot. On certain occasions, members of CGO staff will GM games.

At the sceduled time, all of the players involved will go to a specified web page and input a username and password. If these are punced in correctly, the player will then jump to the chat room and the game may begin.
