Prologue
The space. Countless stars shimmer on it.
From some point of it a large meteorite appears, and it heads directly towards the earth.
It enters the atmosphere in a horizontal axis, speeding over the ground, and then a yellow beam breaks it as it approaches a continent. Each of the 13 parts land on different places until only one remains, but still gets closer and closer to landing.
A town. A baseball field where teen guys play.
Crack! The batter hits the ball hard in a high fly.
"Left field! Let's see if you can catch a ball before the century finishes!"
"Then I'll better hurry..." the boy, with a mole in the left of his frown, jokes as he runs towards the ball, "...because that's less than six months away!"
Everyone has his sight on the ball on the sky when a flare comes into view. "Watch out!!!" The left fielder has to jump aside as the ball of fire crashes in front of him, lighting in red all around.

The crater is just centimeters from his face. He can feel the heat, but is impressed by a white glowing, pointed crystal in the center of the hole. He instinctively tried to take it, but the blazing hotness of the ground scares him. He tries again and finds the crystal is cold. He picks it up quickly without touching the dirt and hides it in his uniform.
As he stands up, he finds out that everyone is still open-mouthed. The boy starts to take the dirt out of his clothes when every person on the field nears him.
"Are you okay, A...?"
"We just had a meteorite crash here!!!"
"Our field is ruined!"
"It's more important to see if he's okay!"
"Okay, guys." the boy with the mole interrupts. "I'm all right... but I'll better go home before I sweat it up. It's getting late by all means." He gets out of the crowd and heads for his house.
Later that night...
The boy had been watching the crystal for hours, wondering where may it come from and what it really is. He finally decides to go to sleep and turns out the light. He then sees the crystal glows again, and the light increases until it blinds him.
In the whiteness of the blinding light, the boy surprises to see a girl in a yellowish-white dress. He also is surprised to find the light does not hurt his eyes even when all he can see is himself, the lady and the crystal.
"Are you the beholder of the A crystal?" she asks.
"I found that crystal this afternoon", he says pointing at it. "Who are you?"
"I'm Luna, leader of the 26 powers on the Earth." She looks behind though the boy can't see anything around her. "I can't talk for long. An evil power has rose far away, sooner than expected. I know it may be difficult, but you must come here, to the Earth City Ginalia, bringing the other members on the way. I will send you help as soon as I can. Tomorrow is when your life will really begin. Wake up!" Luna turns around and runs away as the light dimmers and all returns to normality.
The boy understood clearly. He had the feeling of having being told something he already knew, something he was expecting. But now, he was very sleepy. He wanted to sleep, just to wake up tomorrow, the day the adventure would really begin.
