The gunner does 3 things while the 3rd is rarely being done:
1. Fire the main gun.
2. Fire the coaxial 7.62mm (0.3 inch) machinegun.
3. Order the loader to load a round if the tank commander didn't order in time.

The gunner's primary sight (GPS) looks like this:

The gunner's primary sight can be shown at 3X and 10X size. The GPS also has thermal view mode, ballistic computer and a laser range finder.

The gunner's auxiliary sight looks like this:

The gunner's auxiliary sight can be shown at 10X size only. There is no thermal mode available, no balistic computer and no laser range finder, but there are some things to replace them:
1. range finder: helps you tell the range to the target by its height. This is how a target should look at the range of 1200 meters:

2. Help to fire HEAT rounds: If you know the range, you can use this to find out how much to you need to higher the gun from the target to get and exact hit. Put the dot near the appropriate number on the target and fire.
3. Help to fire SABOT (Kinetic Energy (KE)) rounds: Just like the (2), but the SABOT flies faster so it doesn't need to be as high.
