IRC AddiCts Scripts and Clients

HeLLo! You are now at my link for IRC Scripts. The scripts displayed are the scripts I have been using since I have been IRCing in EFnet and Undernet. Sorry Newbies the scripts I have linked up are not really for you. They are more for the more IRC familiar person. Also, the script I have so far are only for the PPL who have IRCII Clients. That means the PPL who IRC through Windows the scripts are useless. hmm.. Oh yeah.. They are Zipped for easier FTP accross the web. So don't forget to unzip them before loading them.

I'm not saying there are backdoors or anything. I have used everyone of them and they all work out fine. I'm just covering my ass for anything that might go wrong with them.

IRCII Scripts
IRCII is the original client for IRC. If you IRC via UNIX or anthing besides Windows then these scripts will work for you. They have been compressed through UNIX. To use these scripts:

1. Download them into your UNIX account.

2. Then Uncompress them by using the uncompress command. i.e. (at prompt)uncompress irc_file.Z
Use in place of the irc_file.Z whatever file you downloaded.

3. Then use the move command mv to move the file to your IRC file named .ircrc i.e. (at promt)mv irc_file .ircrc

4. Go into IRC and the script should boot up.

LiCe is the Best IRC Script I've used.. I'm an oldbie so I haven't tried any of the new scripts.... check out LiCe here!

mIRC: For the windows user.
mIRC is a client that you can IRC through Windows.. These Clients will work if you have two things: Windows and a Internet Service Provider. which means if you are looking at this webpage from your computer you can IRC! For mIRC clients you really do not need a script. The client itself provides the short cuts in IRCing.

Very well done webpage. I would recommend it for Newbies and Oldbies.

Is another IRC Client I like to use. I Use this client more than mIRC. Its a lot more easier to use.
