Probably the most famous and widely used : Waterloo Northern Line. Euston Northern and Victoria Line. King's Cross St. Pancreas Northern, Victoria, Circle, Metropolitan Line Charing Cross Northern, Bakerloo and Jubilee line. The above stations are all located in the heart of London so to get to places like Leicester Square or Hyde Park are no problem at all. If you're going to London and use public transport to get there, and around there, get a Travelcard. Children off peak is £1.70, er...I don't know the adult prices :) but Travelcards are the most useful as you can take buses aswell as trains. I'm pretty sure you're allowed to blade around the streets in London, and if you want to look *cool* while you shop, well, there really is no alternative. However, some old ladies will probably start whining in disgust as you whizz past them . Plus, as it gets seriously overcrowded in the streets of London, you will have quite a lot of difficulty skating around, and so I really wouldn't recommend it. Taking the bicycle in London is an OK idea. Though if you're sensitive to the pollution, well, no chance of taking the bike then. There's also the dangerous possibility of cars knocking you over as driving in London can get pretty chaotic, as I've experienced. Personally, I'd recommend buying a Travelcard so that if you need to travel, say from Tottenham Court Rd to Hyde Park you can use that. Then, if you need to go from Picaddily Circus to Leicester Square, I'd recommend walking. Oh yes, one more thing, if at all possible, try to AVOID the Northern Line. It's delays can get a bit annoying. Shame really, cos a lot of cool places are located on the Northern Line : Tottenham Ct Rd, Leicester Square. Well, that's all I have to say about travelling in London. Nice meeting ya!
