BIRTH
My name is Goh Keng Huat and I am born in Singapore. The baby in the cover picture is me -- my parents took it several months after my birth in the year 1973. I was a very happy baby.
Being firstborn, my parents, especially Mom, doted on me. They always called me by the nickname of Ah Huat (Huat means prosperity in local dialect Hokkien).
I cannot really remember those early years now, but from the family photographs I can see that I always had a grin on my face during those days.
