KELLY GETS HER OWN NEWS SECTION!

Kelly, at the annual Jade Solid Gold awards for 1998, won the silver award for the category of "Best advertisement theme song" for her performance of "SeriousÄY­«", the theme song for Chase Manhattan Bank in Hong Kong.
Apart from "SeriousÄY­«", the other nomination of Kelly's to have made it into the final round of the JSG was "You're the One", also another one of her theme songs for a company, this particular one for Epson, the printer company.
Kelly also won the silver award for the most popular female singer in the annual awards given out by the radio stations, with the gold going to Faye Wong and the bronze going to Miriam Yeung.

KELLY ACTS IN JAPAN

Kelly has for a few months now been staying in Japan, acting in a new Japanese drama. Presumably Kelly has to speak in Japanese, but this should be no problem for Kelly, who has studied in Japan before.
Details of the actual plot are few, but Kelly did return for a few short days to Hong Kong to do some work. When asked at the airport about the new series, Kelly replied, "I'm satisfied with my acting in the series".
