A week had passed since Daniel's encounter with the magician. He and his friends have yet managed to find any new powers of his, but had lots of fun fooling around with the powers he already had. Daniel felt a little worn out, so he decided to stay and rest at home while his friends went shopping.
Gee, I'm bored, thought Daniel. I wish there was some way to pass the time... He thought up different board games and card games, but they were no fun playing with himself.
Should I conjure up the gang here? thought Daniel. Nah, maybe not...I will disrupt them of their enjoyment should I do that... He paced around the white, carpeted room for a while when his eyes chanced upon a lyrics set. He leafed through the book and saw lyrics from various artistes such as Madonna, the Spice Girls, the Beatles, Elton John and Savage Garden themselves.
"Hey, this book belongs to Darren," noticed Daniel, seeing his friend's name on the front cover. "When on Earth did he get this?" He read through the book when he saw the lyrics to 'To The Moon And Back' - his favourite Savage Garden song so far. Just then something in him compelled him to...
Darren had returned with his friends from a shopping spree and was placing his bags in his room when he realized that Daniel was nowhere to be seen.
"Hey, where on Earth has Danny gone to?" asked Darren to himself. He looked around for his friend when he heard someone singing.
"I'll be flying to the moon & back if you'll be...you'll be my baby..." The voice was soft yet full of might. It was just the voice Darren always wanted to have, but now he was wondering who owned it. He walked towards the direction of the voice and had the shock of his life.
