"In the meantime, what do we DO?" asked Darren and Daniel, as everyone sat down on the floor. "Hmm......." chorused everyone else. Suddenly, Ben got up and asked something. "What time is it?"
"It's 9 in the morning...." answered Darren, "WAIT! We haven't had our breakfast yet!" Everyone gasped in realization and quickly rushed down to the restaurant. Their manager was waiting - rather impatiently - at the restaurant.
"What took you SO long?" asked their manager. "Oh, nothing, we just got up late, that's all...." answered Anna-Maria. They soon went off to the buffet area. Realizing that they weren't themselves for the moment, and that Darren is a vegetarian, both Darren and Daniel decided to have a vegetarian breakfast. They both ate the same things and drank the same juice - which resulted in some strange looks from the other band members. This two are going to be twins any moment..... thought Nicole to herself. Indeed, both Darren and Daniel seem to be doing the same things at the same time!
One of the restaurant staff decided to turn on the radio. The whole band heard some news about their fans getting disappointed because their concert has been called off. They looked at each other and gave a 'oh-well' gaze. Then they continued eating.
As there was nothing to do, everyone - except the manager, who had to settle something at the hotel reception - went up to Darren and Daniel's room to play some games. Apparently, Ben brought some board games and a 'Twister' set just in case the concert gets delayed or if they have nothing else better to do. Their laughter was heard all around as each player fell off the 'Twister' board. After a while, Darren fished out the laptop and decided to surf the Net for a while. He went to all the Savage Garden fan pages available and also updated the official page. Daniel felt bored and watched some TV. On the set was the Tears Of Pearls video. After ALL of them have finished what they were doing, they started to chat.
"We must be the first swapped-soul people in the universe!" chuckled Daniel. Hearing what Daniel said, Darren suddenly hummed a few bars of Universe. Then they talked about life in general, and how lucky they were BEFORE they became each other.
"If only we knew how to get out of this mess....." said Anna-Maria. Everyone else just sighed.
