Lamina couldn't believe her eyes. She was back in her own room, but without Darren. Lamina frowned for a while but remembered what Colby said to her in her dream. She then noticed something on her bedroom table. She picked it up and was surprised at what she found. It was the paranormal behaviour book! With the dog-ear on the page about parallel worlds!!
Lamina started to think positive. She saw the rain trickling on her window-sill. But she didn't mind at all. Well, rain is good...it gives water and refreshment for every living thing on Earth, thought she. Even me, Darren & Colby!
Lamina put on her bright yellow raincoat, with her favourite song line etched in her mind as she put them on. Conversation has a time and place in the right direction between a lover and a mate but the time I'm talking using signals, using words can be likened to a deep sea diver who's...
"SWIMMING WITH A RAINCOAT!" sang Lamina, finishing the line. She merrily skipped towards her workplace, saying 'Good Morning' to everyone she passed by. As she reached her office, she ran over to her cubicle and did all of her work with a happy heart. Her workmate - the one who'd always scold her for having a crush on Darren - couldn't help but notice her strange change of behaviour.
"Err, Lamina...whatever happened to you? You used to be all grumpy and sad and now you're happier than a Teletubby!" commented her workmate. "Hmm...does this have to do with someone by the name of Darren Hayes from Savage Garden?" Lamina couldn't help but laugh at her remark.
"Well, yes, somewhat..." answered Lamina. "He & his wife just taught me a very good lesson - think positive and all your dreams will come true!" Just then, their manager arrived.
"Attention everybody!" shouted the manager. "I have some news for you. Firstly, Miss Lamina Wamintire has been promoted to Group Management due to her hard work over the years. She has also been given a 10% raise in her salary. Secondly, she would have a partner, as there is a new employee in our company. Everyone, please welcome Darin Hays!"
