Hmm....let's start with Luna. Luna is a very proper, almost english-accented cat (in the dub!). She's "rescued" by Usagi one day, and starts to live with her. Luna has a strong sense of what's right and wrong, and she easily gets exasperated with Usagi's lack of common sense. She's not really mean, but she's a bit of a dictator sometimes.

Artemis is Minako's guardian cat. He lived with her in England and trained her in the art of bad-guy bashing. He's also Central Control (hee hee, ever seen the episode when Luna finds out? Not a real episode, but funny nonetheless!). He likes to bash Usagi (for her lack of common sense and klutziness, what else?), and he gets pretty annoyed with Minako too (mainly for her ditziness).

Diana is the daughter of Artemis and Luna, and she's the guardian of Chibi-Usa. Unfortunately, Chibi-Usa is just as given to klutz attacks as her mother, so she needs to have *someone* around to keep her from totally tripping up over herself.

Naru is Usagi's best friend and her emotional support for most of the anime. Naru's got one of those lives where every thing was normal till she hit 14 and then WHAM! She's always getting attacked by some weird energy-sucking being and has to have Sailor Moon save her. During these reoccurring incidents, she falls in love with one of these Nega-dudes (Nephlite). Later on in the anime she starts to go out with Umino. The energy-sucking beings don't stop coming, but Tuxedo Melvin comes to her rescue (not all the time, in fact, only once as far as I remember)!! Then we go back to the smoke and lights of having Sailor Moon come and save Naru for the thousandth time.

Umino is the, uh... geek of the show. His glasses are way nifty *trying to come up with something nice about Umino*.. And.. well.. in one episode he almost saved Naru from a bush-like fate.. He's very studious, very intelligent, loyal, and annoying. And.... well.... he's kinda square.

Motoki, friend of Mamoru and the focus of attention from Mako and Usagi in the beginning of Sailormoon. They both had crushes on him, and were pretty devastated when they heard that he already had a girlfriend. 'Course, they go on and on 'bout how they can still chase him, etc. Usagi lays off later in the story (she's got Mamoru already). Mako's still there, I'm not sure if she lays off or not, but I do know that the whole thing is yet another hopeless exploit for the replacement of her sempai. Motoki, however, thinks of the girls as little sisters, which adds to all the embarrassing things that happen in the story.
